Services & Supports
Our Clients
ABC Pathways works with Neurodivergent clients ages 7 and up and their families. Some of our clients have diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, or other learning and behavioral needs. However, not all of our clients have a formal diagnosis. Because ABC Pathways is a private pay provider, we are able to work with clients with a variety of support needs regardless of diagnosis or lack thereof.
Our Offerings
Child/Teen Individual & Group Offerings
Services for children and teens are provided in neuro-affirming environments that recognize the importance of individual autonomy and motivation in achieving goals. Groups are designed to build community and foster inclusion through shared activities, discussion, and projects. Skills developed include:
Emotion regulation
Communication
Problem solving
Self-advocacy
Life skills, or activities of daily living
Social skills and friendships
Executive functioning skills
Parent/Caregiver Individual & Group Offerings
Parent supports are designed not only to build parent skill and confidence in raising a Neurodivergent child or teen, but also to recognize that parenting is hard and requires self-compassion. Acceptance and Commitment Training is used to guide parents on their family’s journey to identifying what matters to them, and help them stay focused on what’s important in raising their child. Parent coaching groups build parenting skills as well as provide a space for parents to connect with others and build community. Parent coaching can address behaviors and skills such as:
Building connection through shared experiences
Developing routines that promote independence
Improving communication
Handling big feelings (kids and adults)
Resolving conflict with others
Increasing responsibility
Rates & Payments
ABC Pathways is a private pay provider. Payment is accepted by credit/debit card, HSA card, cash, or check. We strive to make our services accessible to as many families as possible; please reach out to learn about sliding scale rates and payment plan options. While we do not submit to insurance for reimbursement, we can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company. In those cases, the reimbursement process is handled between you and your insurance company.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare items or services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services website.
